We have a special play area for ducklings and a rubber duck is included in the children's menu, as we are a child-friendly place. Four-legged guests are also welcome with delicious dog biscuits and fresh water, and the Malom és Kacsa is dog-friendly inside and out.

We ate lunch, preferring to sit inside because of the climate. We had fast and attentive friendly service! The food was delicious and had flavours with character! Finally, it was not the cafeteria taste like other places. Our lunch was worth every penny !

Located in a beautiful setting, next to the waterfront. Outdoor, indoor sunbathing. It is worth booking in advance at the weekend as the place was full. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly. It's more like fine dining, so an adult male might not be comfortable, at least our guys could still eat the food. The snipe duck is their flagship, they confit the gizzard and heart for 12 hours, it was really soft crumbly for offal, not chewy at all. Little play area for kids, and they got little rubber duckies at checkout.:) You can see into the kitchen on the way to the bathroom, interesting sight.

Close to the waterfront, past and future meet. The old mill complex, several hundred years old, has been completely reconstructed. With its charming lure and exclusive spaces, this restaurant really impressed me. The cuisine is very exciting, with reimagined dishes, and the waiters are friendly. In winter and summer it is suitable for events, weddings or just a good lunch. The prices are very good for the quality and standard offered. The food is fresh and prepared quickly, and the serving is creative and sophisticated. We come out at around 5-6 thousand forints per person. Of course, there are some dishes with a higher price tag, like the Steak or the Tiger Prawns, but that's understandable. If you're in Tata, be sure to check it out! It's worth it 🙂

As a wedding caterer, I had a very pleasant experience at the Mill and Duck House. Very nice environment, cool function room, cleanest restroom I have ever encountered. Lovely service and delicious food, definitely made the Mill and Duck one of the top wedding venues for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wedding in a beautiful setting, with flexible and professional service. The event planner was at the disposal of the guests and service providers throughout the evening and was 100% available for everything.

Our wedding took place in August 2022 at the Mill and Duck. Both the civil ceremony and the wedding took place there. The coordination went very smoothly, all our requests were met and it is obvious that they are striving for perfectionism. The panoramic terrace alone was a wonderful venue for the wedding and the bright room was perfect for our wedding of 43. The food was phenomenal, judging by the feedback from the wedding party. Other caterers have mentioned that they attend a lot of weddings, but they have never had food this delicious. The staff were lovely and very helpful, everyone listened to our requests throughout the evening and night. I would recommend Duck to anyone who wants an elegant wedding in a beautiful setting with extraordinary food. After many requests for quotations, it is also clear that the value for money is also absolutely fine.
